A Bucket List of Sorts

I got this survey from Ciara and Enya's mom's blog, a blog chronicling the lives of twin micropreemies in Germany.

8. Climbed a mountain (not professionally or anything)
9. Held a praying mantis (I can't be certain, but I wasn't always terrified of bugs)

16. Had food poisoning (who hasn't?)
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty

(Dude. I really did. Tomatoes, corn, carrots, onions and cucumbers. Once.)
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France (There were sooo many people in that room!)
20. Slept in an overnight train (on the way to Italy)
21. Had a pillow fight
(yeah...NAKED!)

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill (Gasp! Of course not!)
24. Built a snow fort (me and my brother did this a lot when we were younger)
25. Held a lamb
26. Gone skinny dipping
27. Run a marathon
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice (once you get past the fish smell, Venice is quite lovely)
29. Seen a total eclipse (I think we did at school once)
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset (I've seen the sunrise, but I sure as hell wasn't happy about it)

31. Hit a home run (Hells yeah!)
32. Been on a cruise
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person (the Canadian side is sooo much cooler than the U.S. side. Go figure)
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors
35. Seen an Amish community (Does TV count?)
36. Taught yourself a new language
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person (That thing looks about ready to fall any day now)
39. Gone rock climbing
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David (And he is magnificent!)
41. Sung karaoke (Only when drunk and by force)
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt (Yep, he's faithful alright)
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant
44. Visited Africa
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight
46. Been transported in an ambulance

48. Gone deep sea fishing
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person (Pretty amazing actually)
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (twice)

52. Kissed in the rain (what a glorious feeling, I'm happy again. Hmm...I think that's "singing in the rain". Oh well)

76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London (numerous times--never gets old)
77. Broken a bone (only fingers; we won't discuss the broken finger from last New Year's Eve)
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle (Quite frightening, but cool)
79. Seen the Grand Canyon in person

81. Visited the Vatican (It would be hard to see the Sistine Chapel in person without visiting the Vatican don't you think?)
82. Bought a brand new car (a Grand Am GT and a Mazda RX8)
83. Walked in Jerusalem
84. Had your picture in the newspaper (several times I think for softball and cheerleading. Oh! And one time Jodi and I were in the newspaper for Jump Rope for Heart or whatever it was called)
85. Read the entire Bible
86. Visited the White House
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating
88. Had chicken pox
89. Saved someone’s life
90. Sat on a jury
91. Met someone famous (Gary Busey is my ex-great uncle, Jake Busey is my second cousin or first cousin once removed or second removed once cousin, first cousin seconded, or whatever)
92. Joined a book club
93. Lost a loved one
94. Had a baby

95. Seen the Alamo in person (Boy howdy)
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake
97. Been involved in a lawsuit
98. Owned a cell phone
99. Been stung by a bee
100. Read an entire book in one day (many times--I can be quite single-minded when given the chance)


And no, I don't know what happened to numbers 11, 54, 64 and 65. Maybe they started a band together and went on tour.

I'm not tagging anyone in particular. I just couldn't think of anything to blog about today so I thought it would be fun to do another random survey.

Hi Kerry, thanks for the comment. I didn't even notice the numbers were missing on my post.
Kansas City looks nice though. Someday I'll get to the States again then I can tick off a few more on this list!
